 Meet Ann Zaggle. Never mind blue blood, she's blue to her toes! She's the site and list mascot, that's her, up in the corner of every page. Yes she is tiny, she's a pixel dolly. This is as big as she gets.
She was born in 2003, like most great ideas on this list, as a result of an innocent question: Sandy asked how everyone pronounced the list name. Anne E said: I say
"anzagul"
I say it like ANZAC only with a G and then add an L - so the L isn't very stressed. Then Cindy said: Sort of like someone called Anne Zaggle? ;) And Sandy said: Sounds like we just found a mascot :DD Well that was it! Floss started referring to the list members as Zagglers, and so we've been ever since! It's even become a verb - when Karen and Sandy work on the site, they make a date to zaggle. Presumably a group of list members getting together would be a gaggle of zagglers having a zaggle? We've seen a few iterations of her but we like the blue one best. So now we're looking for some suggestions from our craft list members to 'make' an Ann Zaggle - and we hope they'll write instructions and post them here with a photo or two. Send to
