Wise Words are the inspirational Quotes, Poems, Prayers, Short stories and even the odd cartoon from the daily Wise Words of 2005 and 2006.
When I started Wise Words I thought about what was going to be the most helpful to those on the list, and of course, things to use in our units are always helpful. I also intended them to be useable by all, so most were suitable for the under 14 age group with a few more suitable for older girls & adults. The idea is that they will make you laugh, cry, think or talk about the contents.
Wise Words have been used in things as diverse as opening & closing meetings, unit quote & prayer books, camp notice boards, Guides Owns, Campfires, Wide Games and lots of other ways too.
